Description
The completed appliqué on Kagetoki's coat-to be.
The base of the coat is a deep blue-green moleskin (yes, it stretches a bit).
The applique is in silver Casa Satin using Heat 'n Bond lite and then zig-zag over the edges with Madiera Polyneon thread.
The detail lines were drawn in with dissapearing pen before I stitched them, and you can still see bits of them if you steam burst the area to rehydrate the ink. >.>
Not including patterning and design, I'd estimate the applique took me about 30+ hours. That's cutting it out, adding detail lines, fusing and machine stitching.
